Who is Carolyn Jane?
In 2012 a seed was planted in my heart to start this business. I named it after my late mother, Carolyn Jane. Her name stands for integrity, love and serving others. Her name is a daily reminder to treat our customers, with great service and love.
Carolyn Jane's is a small family owned jewelry design studio + boutique nestled in the heart of Kentucky. Horse Country! My family and I believe in small American business and giving back. We strive for American made products and handcrafted designs. We carry other American made items in our boutique along side our own.
Did you know that every 30 seconds a life is lost to abortion in America? Ending a precious life and leaving another life scarred. Studies show that women who have abortions are 81% more likely to have mental health problems. I believe that life begins at conception and every pre-born deserves a chance to live. That is why we give 5% of all sales to save a child. Every time we give $265.00 we help a mother choose life for her baby.
"Before I formed you in the womb I knew you, before you were born I set you apart." - Jeremiah 1:5
I know what it feels like to have a unplanned pregnancy. In my early 20's I had a second surprise shortly after giving birth to my first surprise. I was in shock and disbelief, as I was using birth control. My husband I were young, just starting out and money was tight. Frantically crying, I called my OBGYN. Her first response to me was, " If this isn't a good time for you to have another baby we can terminate the pregnancy". Her words quickly offended me. I dried my tears, and told her, "I would not want to answer to God for doing such a thing. I'm upset and shocked, but I'll get through this."
See, I had an advantage. I was raised in a wonderful Christian home and knew what the Bible said about life. Most importantly, I knew that I could put my faith in God and he would take care of us, and he did!
That second surprise has grown up to be a beautiful, smart, sweet young lady. I not only get to call her my daughter, but she's also my best friend. What a blessing I would have missed out on, if in my weakness, I had not put my trust in God.
